Wanted your opinion of a Charles Daly 12ga O/U made by Miroku of Japan, the producer of Browning shotguns and rifles, they manufactured the over & under shotguns for Daly from the mid-1960s to the mid-70's. Anyway, I have a chance to buy a really nice 12GA fixed chokes Daly for ~$500. The Charles Daly on GB is my gun. It is indeed Italian made. It is a darned nice gun. The other gun you posted on is a Citori, great gun. However the one you listed is a short barreled, fixed choke gun. The listing does not indicate the chokes. If they are mod or tighter Skeet will be a frustration.

They make good guns now and when i got mf first one in the late 60's. Still use a superior grade skeet in 12 gauge on occasion. The Miroku Dalys were well made, hand engraved, but their trigger system ( sic: spring) left me non-plussed with frequent breakage.

I can still remember the excessive recoil that gun had, it made an impression on me that I still remember. Buyer beware !!!Many different guns have been imported under ;the Charles Daly name and I do not know if all the Italian guns were as good as the one I had.
