Appalachia service project

Pleasantville has a long tradition of sending volunteers to Central Appalachia each summer for a week-long home-repair ministry with the Appalachia Service Project, a Tennessee-based non-profit organization. In 2023, our community sent 21 volunteers to Rupert, West Virginia to make critical home repairs for two families.
